This Privacy Policy explains what information ToolMitra ("we", "us") collects when you visittoolmitra.online, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to this policy.

1. Information you enter into our tools

Our calculators, games and quizzes run entirely in your web browser. Numbers, names, dates and text you type into a tool are processed on your device and are not sent to or stored on our servers. Some tools (for example, the festival greeting generator) put the name you enter into the page link so you can share it — anyone you send that link to can see it.

2. Information stored on your device

We use your browser's local storage to remember a few preferences, such as your light/dark theme choice, your cookie choice and your daily game progress and streaks. This data stays on your device; you can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

3. Contact form

If you contact us, we receive the name, email address and message you submit, and use them only to reply to you. Messages may be delivered through a form-handling service (Formspree) or your own email app.

4. Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to show advertisements, which keeps this site free. Google and its partners are third-party vendors that use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all cookies or keep only essential ones. If you choose "Essential only", we ask Google to show non-personalised ads. You can change your choice by clearing your browser's site data.

5. Analytics and logs

We run our own privacy-friendly analytics on our own server — no Google Analytics and no analytics cookies — to understand which tools are useful and fix problems. For each visit we record the page, the referring website, your browser type, device type, screen width, language and time zone (used to estimate your country), plus actions such as using a tool, finishing a game or sharing a page.

  • We do not store your IP address. It is combined with your browser details and a random value that changes every day, then turned into a one-way code, so visits can be counted without identifying you.
  • A random session code is kept in your browser tab (session storage) and deleted when you close it.
  • Only if you choose “Accept all” on our cookie banner, a random anonymous ID is stored in your browser so we can tell new and returning visitors apart. We never set it if your browser sends “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signals. Clear your browser's site data to remove it.
  • Analytics data is never sold or shared, and raw records are deleted after 13 months.

Our web server may also keep standard access logs (including IP addresses) for a short time for security and troubleshooting.

6. Children's privacy

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 or the EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. Because we store very little, the easiest way is to email us at hello@toolmitra.online.

8. Third-party links

Our pages may link to other websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed.
