About this age calculator
This age calculator tells you exactly how old you are in years, months and days โ not just in years. It also shows your age as total months, weeks, days and hours, which day of the week you were born on, your sun sign and how many days are left until your next birthday. It's handy for filling in exam and job application forms, checking eligibility cut-offs, planning birthday surprises, or simply satisfying curiosity.
How to use it
- Pick your date of birth from the calendar.
- Leave Age on as today, or choose another date โ for example the cut-off date in an exam notification.
- Your exact age and all the extra details appear instantly.
How age is worked out
The calculator first counts complete years between the two dates, then complete calendar months, and finally the leftover days. When a month is shorter than your birth date (say you were born on the 31st), it uses the last day of that month, just like you would on a calendar.
Total days = (Age-on date โ Date of birth) in days
Example
Someone born on 15 August 1995 is 31 years, 1 month and 20 days old on 5 October 2026. From 15 August 1995 to 15 August 2026 is 31 years; to 15 September is one more month; and 15 September to 5 October is 20 days. That's 11,374 days in total.

- You turn 10,000 days old at around 27 years and 4 months โ a fun milestone to celebrate.
- Leap years add an extra day roughly every four years, which is why age in days isn't simply years ร 365.
