Add or subtract days from a date

When is a 90-day notice period over? What date is 45 days from today for a payment, or 180 days for a visa? Thisdate calculator adds or subtracts any number of days, weeks, months, years or working days from a date and tells you the exact date and weekday. Working-day mode skips Sundays and can follow the Indian bank pattern of 2nd and 4th Saturdays off. A table shows the most-asked offsets instantly.

How to use it

  1. Pick the start date (today by default).
  2. Choose add or subtract, the amount and the unit.
  3. Read the resulting date and weekday.

Example

Resigning on 7 October 2026 with a 90-day notice period ends on 5 January 2027(a Tuesday). Adding 10 working days to the same Wednesday, with Saturdays off, gives21 October. To count the days between two dates instead, use thedate difference calculator; to count business days in a range, the working days calculator.

Frequently asked questions

How do I find the date 90 days from today?
Leave the start date as today, choose Add, enter 90 and keep the unit as days. The tables below also show common offsets like 30, 45, 60, 90 and 180 days at a glance.
Is the start date counted?
No. Adding 1 day to Monday gives Tuesday. This is how notice periods, loan due dates and most legal deadlines are counted — but check the specific rule if a deadline is important.
What happens when I add months to 31 January?
When the target month is shorter, the date moves to that month’s last day: 31 January + 1 month = 28 February (29 in a leap year).
Can I skip weekends?
Yes. Choose “Working days” as the unit to count only business days. You can treat Saturdays as working days, as holidays, or follow the Indian banks’ rule of 2nd and 4th Saturdays off.
