Reorder PDF pages

Pages scanned in the wrong order, an annexure that should come before the main letter, or a document that came out back-to-front — this reorder PDF pages tool fixes it visually. Every page appears as a thumbnail; drag it where it belongs or nudge it with the arrow buttons, then save. The PDF is rearranged in your browser and never uploaded.

How to reorder pages

  1. Choose your PDF.
  2. Drag pages by the ⠿ handle, or use ◀ ▶. The small number shows each page's original position.
  3. Tap Save new order and download.

Tips

  • Reverse order fixes face-down scanner feeds in one tap.
  • Combining several files in a particular order? Use Merge PDF, then fine-tune here.
  • Remove pages you don't need with Delete PDF Pages, and fix sideways pages with Rotate PDF.

Example

An appointment letter PDF has the annexure (original pages 4-5) before the signature page (original page 3). Drag page 3 in front of page 4 — the order line now reads 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 in the right sequence — and save. The downloaded file reads naturally from first page to last, with every page exactly as it was.

Frequently asked questions

How do I rearrange pages in a PDF?
Choose the PDF, then drag a page by its ⠿ handle to its new place, or use the ◀ ▶ buttons to move it one step at a time. Tap Save new order to download the rearranged PDF.
Does dragging work on phones?
Yes. Press and hold the ⠿ handle and drag. The page scrolls automatically near the top or bottom of the screen. If dragging is fiddly, the ◀ ▶ buttons do the same job.
Can I reverse the page order?
Yes — tap “Reverse order”. This is handy for scans fed into a scanner face-down, which come out last page first.
Will my PDF lose quality?
No. Pages are moved, not re-created — text stays selectable and images unchanged.
Is the PDF uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser on your device.
