Example
“tHE QUICK BROWN FOX” in Sentence case becomes “The quick brown fox”, in Title Case“The Quick Brown Fox”, and as a variable name “theQuickBrownFox” (camelCase) or “the_quick_brown_fox” (snake_case). Need a URL from a title? Use the slug generator. Count words and characters with the word counter.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Title Case and Sentence case?
Title Case capitalises the main words of a heading (“The Lord of the Rings”), leaving short words like “of” and “the” in lower case. Sentence case capitalises only the first word of each sentence and proper nouns, like normal writing.
What are camelCase, snake_case and kebab-case?
Naming styles used in programming and URLs: camelCase joins words with capitals (userName), snake_case joins them with underscores (user_name), kebab-case with hyphens (user-name), and CONSTANT_CASE uses capitals with underscores (MAX_SIZE).
I typed with Caps Lock on — can this fix it?
Yes. Paste the text and tap “Sentence case” or “iNVERSE” to flip every letter’s case back.
Does it work with Hindi or other languages?
Scripts without capital letters, like Devanagari, are left unchanged, while English words mixed in are converted. Accented Latin letters (é, ñ) convert correctly.
