You can ignore capital letters, keep only unique lines and drop blank lines in the same step. It works for names, roll numbers, product lists, keywords and code — in English, Hindi or any language.

How to use it

  1. Paste your list, one item per line.
  2. Choose a sort order and any options.
  3. Copy or download the sorted list.

Example

The list “Item 10, banana, Item 2, Apple, cherry, Item 1” in natural order becomes Apple, banana, cherry, Item 1, Item 2, Item 10; a plain A–Z sort would put Item 10 before Item 2. Remove repeated entries withremove duplicate lines, or pick a random winner with therandom name picker.

Frequently asked questions

What is natural sort?
Natural sort orders numbers inside text the way people expect: “Item 2” before “Item 10”. A plain alphabetical sort would put “Item 10” first because it compares character by character.
Does it sort Hindi and other languages correctly?
Yes. It uses your browser’s language-aware sorting, so Devanagari, accented letters and mixed-language lists are ordered properly.
How do I shuffle a list randomly?
Choose “Shuffle” — each tap gives a new random order. It’s handy for picking teams or the order of turns. For picking winners, try the random name picker.
Can I remove duplicates while sorting?
Yes, tick “Unique only”. For more control (ignore case, trim spaces) use the remove duplicate lines tool.
