How old are you on other planets?

Every planet takes a different amount of time to travel around the Sun, so your age depends on where you live! This fun age on other planets calculator turns your birth date into your age in Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune years, and tells you when your next birthday on each planet will be. It's a great way for children to understand orbits and why the outer planets move so slowly.

    How to use it

    1. Enter your date of birth.
    2. See your age on each planet and the date of your next planetary birthday.
    3. Share it with friends — and see who's oldest on Mercury!

    Planet years in Earth days

    Mercury 88 · Venus 225 · Earth 365.25 · Mars 687 · Jupiter 4,333 (11.9 Earth years) · Saturn 10,759 (29.5 years) · Uranus 30,689 (84 years) · Neptune 60,182 (164.8 years).

A child born on 15 June 2012 is 14 years old on Earth in October 2026, but about 59on Mercury, 23 on Venus and only 7.6 on Mars. On Jupiter they're just over 1, and on Neptune they haven't even reached 0.1 of a year. Find your exact Earth age with theage calculator.

    Frequently asked questions

How is age on other planets calculated?
A “year” is one trip around the Sun. Your age in days is divided by the length of that planet’s year in Earth days. Mars takes about 687 Earth days to orbit the Sun, so you are roughly half as old in Mars years.
On which planet would I be oldest?
Mercury — it races round the Sun in just 88 days, so a 12-year-old would be about 50 in Mercury years. On Neptune, whose year lasts almost 165 Earth years, nobody alive has had a first birthday yet.
Why aren’t days on other planets used?
Planets also spin at different speeds — a day on Venus is longer than its year! To keep things simple, this calculator measures age only in orbits around the Sun, which is what a “year” means.
What are the planets called in Hindi?
Budh (Mercury), Shukra (Venus), Prithvi (Earth), Mangal (Mars), Brihaspati or Guru (Jupiter), Shani (Saturn), Arun (Uranus) and Varun (Neptune).
