About Memory Match
Memory Match (also called Concentration or Pairs) is a classic card game that tests how well you remember where things are. This version uses fun Indian-themed pictures โ mangoes, diyas, cricket bats, peacocks and more โ and works perfectly on a phone. Choose Easy, Medium or Hard, beat your best score, and challenge friends to do better.
How to play
- Choose a difficulty: 6, 8 or 12 pairs.
- Tap a card to flip it, then tap a second card.
- Matching pairs stay open. Non-matching cards flip back after a moment โ remember them!
- Find every pair to finish. Each pair of flips counts as one move.
Scoring
Moves = number of times you flip two cards
With perfect luck you'd match every pair on the first try, so the minimum is one move per pair. Realistically, remembering cards you've seen is the key: every mismatch shows you two new card positions.
Example
On Medium (16 cards, 8 pairs), a strong player usually finishes in 12โ16 moves. If your first two cards are ๐ฅญ and ๐ and the next card you flip is another ๐ฅญ, you already know exactly where its partner is.
Tips
- Work systematically โ flip cards row by row early on so you build a mental map.
- Say it in your head (โmango, top-leftโ) โ naming things helps you remember them.
- Use known positions first โ if one card of a pair is already known, go for it.
