Sign a PDF online

No printer or scanner needed. This PDF signing tool lets you add your signature to offer letters, rental agreements, forms and declarations right from your phone or computer. Draw your signature with your finger, type it in a handwriting style, or upload a photo of your signature on paper (the white background is removed automatically). Place it anywhere on any page, resize it, add today's date, and download the signed PDF — all without uploading your document anywhere.

How to use it

  1. Choose your PDF.
  2. Create your signature: draw, type or upload.
  3. Go to the right page, tap “Add signature”, drag it into place and resize it.
  4. Add the date if needed, then download the signed PDF.

Example

To return a signed rent agreement, open the PDF, draw your signature in blue ink, go to the last page and place it above “Tenant”, then tap “Add date” and drag the date beside it. If the agreement needs initials on every page, add a smaller signature to each page. Need just a signature image? Use thesignature maker. To protect copies of ID documents, add awatermark to the PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Is a signature added this way legally valid?
It is an electronic image of your signature, which many organisations accept for everyday forms, offer letters, rental agreements and declarations. Some documents in India need a certified digital signature (DSC) or Aadhaar eSign instead — for example certain government filings — so check what the recipient requires.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The PDF is opened, signed and saved entirely in your browser. Your document and signature never leave your device.
How do I sign on several pages?
Move to each page with the arrows and tap “Add signature” on it. Each signature can be dragged into place and resized; tap × to remove one.
Can I use a photo of my signature on paper?
Yes. Sign on plain white paper, take a clear photo, choose “Upload” and tick “Remove white background” so only the ink remains. Crop the photo close to the signature first for the best result.
