How to use it
- Choose Draw, Type or Upload.
- Draw on the pad (use Undo if needed), pick a font for your typed name, or choose a photo of your signature.
- Check the preview — it's trimmed tightly around your signature automatically.
- Download the transparent PNG (best for documents) or a JPG with a white background.
How background removal works
For uploaded photos, each pixel's brightness is compared with a threshold. Paper (bright) becomes fully transparent; ink (dark) is kept, with a soft edge so curves stay smooth.
Brightness = 0.299 R + 0.587 G + 0.114 B · pixel kept if brightness < threshold
Example
A signature photographed on white paper under a tube light has paper brightness around 200–230 and blue-pen ink around 60–120. With the clean-up strength at 160, the paper disappears and the ink stays. If faint strokes vanish, move the slider right; if grey shadows remain, move it left.
Tips
- Sign with a thick black or dark-blue pen on plain white paper.
- Photograph from directly above in daylight to avoid shadows.
