Make passport-size photos at home
Need passport-size photos for a passport, visa, PAN card, exam form or ID? Take a photo against a plain wall with your phone and this passport photo maker does the rest: it crops to the exact size — 35 × 45 mm for Indian passports, 2 × 2 inch for US visas and OCI, 25 × 35 mm for PAN — with an oval face guide, then lays out a sheet of copies you can print at any photo shop for a few rupees. Your photo is processed on your device and never uploaded.
How to use it
- Take a well-lit, front-facing photo against a plain light background (no filters).
- Choose the photo and the size you need.
- Move and resize the box so the face fits the oval guide.
- Tap Make photos, then download the single photo (for online forms) or the print sheet.
How the sizes are calculated
Pixels = millimetres ÷ 25.4 × 300 DPI · 35 × 45 mm = 413 × 531 px
Photos are created at 300 dots per inch (the print standard), and the resolution is stored in the file so printers reproduce the exact physical size.
Example
For an Indian passport photo the tool crops your picture to the 35:45 shape and outputs a413 × 531 pixel JPEG. On 4 × 6 inch paper (1200 × 1800 px at 300 DPI), six copiesfit with cutting gaps; on A4 you get up to 30.
